MULTIVERSUS

THE BRIEF

Warner Brothers Interactive Entertainment wanted to locally eventise the launch of their highly anticipated fighter game MultiVersus in Australia.

THE APPROACH

Analysing the creator landscape we were able to hone in on 8 creators with strong followings on games with similar audiences who also have a high in-market audience . We then put them together for a unique tournament that would pique the fighting community’s interest, driving awareness and downloads of the game in the Australian market.

THE EXECUTION

Our 8 creators paired off with each other to create organic camaraderie within the teams for a 4 week round-robin tournament. Creators were asked to play a new character release each tournament to showcase new aspects of the game and push audiences to try it out for themselves. Custom overlays and social post fliers ensured all content was linked to easily watch the tournament and download MultiVersus.
